Naomi Bernecic
Naomi Bernecic is a final year PhD student at the University of Sydney. Her work focuses on capacitation, particularly cholesterol efflux and the support of this process in vitro. In collaboration with Utrecht University, she developed a simple and reliable assay to quantify cholesterol efflux in boar spermatozoa. The merit of her research has been recognised by the receipt of several awards and invitations to speak at a number of national and international conferences.
